The United States Department of Commerce announced that in 2014 total goods trade between the United States and México was $534 billion, up 5 percent from the $507 billion recorded in 2013.
During last year México exported $294.157 billion in goods to the U.S., while it imported goods from the U.S. totaling $240.326 billion, leaving México with a $53.831 billion trade surplus.
México’s exports were up 4.8 percent over 2013, while imports from the U.S. were up 6.3 percent over 2013.
México was the third largest importer of goods to the United States, behind China in first place and Canada in second.
