Aeroméxico Introduces in Flight WiFi Broad Band

Aeroméxico will introduce WiFi broad band on some of its flights. The airline is the first in Latin America to offer the KU-band Panasonic satellite service, a global network dedicated to air travel.
The service will be offered in nine of the company´s new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet. Offered as well is an in-flight entertainment system from the same company with 16 inch high definition screens in First Class and Eco Monitor touch screens in economy class, moving maps, Jukebox and an inter-passenger email network.

Access to Free Wi-Fi Expanded

Under the program Sinaloa Digital, six more plazuelas in popular Mazatlán colonias were connected to the internet offering free Wi-Fi to the community.
As of yesterday, public spaces in Francisco Villa, López Mateos, Miguel Hidalgo, Flores Magón, Ignacio Zarragoz and Kilometer Zero Park offered the free public service.
So far this year 37 free Wi-Fi locations have been installed in eight municipalities with an investment of 40 million pesos, benefiting 92,181 residents of Ahome, Rosario, Culiacán, Salvador Alvarado, Escuinapa, Elota, Concordia and Mazatlán.

Sinaloa Digital Program Begins in Mazatlán

The Sinaloa Secretary of Innovative Government began its ambitious plan to make internet service available to all corners of Sinaloa through is program “Sinaloa Digital” by installing free internet service at Mazatlán’s Zaragoza Plazuela in El Centro and plazuelas in colonias López Mateos and Flores Magón. The WiFi free service requires no password.

To identify areas where the free service is available, internet users simply need to locate the display sign with the “Sinaloa Digital” logo posted in parks and plazuelas.
