Sports enthusiasts in Sabalo Country and surrounding fraccionamientos now have a decent soccer field for their games.
Students from the Instituto Británico, the Mazatlán Mayor and other functionaries inaugurated the playing field located across from the Instituto yesterday.
The soccer field is state of the art with artificial grass, fences, players´ benches, spectator stands and lighting.
According to the municipal public works department, it was built at a cost of 2,117,000 pesos.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mayor Carlos Felton said his government is working to rehabilitate and create more sports complexes in every area of the municipality, without distinction.
There are approximately 700 inhabitants of fraccionamiento Sabalo Country located just north of the Golden Zone.
