Interest in participating in the third annual Ciclotour Mazatlán programmed
for November 22 and 23 has increased this year, said Román Aguayo, a member of
the organizing committee.
To date, over 350 cyclists have registered for the 125 and 165 kilometer rides that begin at the Convention Center and wind through El Habal, La Noria, Presa Picachos, El Recordo, Cofradía, La Urraca and other picturesque towns.
Among those confirmed participants are groups from Tijuana, Durango, Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Distrito Federal, Morelia and Sinaloa.
Said Aguayo, they have surpassed the number of registrants from last year and they are unable to give out jerseys to everyone because the number has increased so much, and more cyclists will continue to register until the cut-off date of November 22.
