Nearly 5,000 additional passenger seats will be added beginning in the month of November by Aeroméxico on its domestic routes as part of the agreement signed yesterday between the airline and the Mazatlan Convention Center.
Beginning next month, Aeroméxico will be offering 23,000 seats in all of its air routes between Mazatlán to Guadalajara, Los Mochis and México City.
The increase in passenger seats was implemented to accommodate the anticipated 6,600 visitors to the Mazatlan International Center for various events between late October and throughout November. Carlos Rodríguez Torrijos, Aeroméxico northern regional manager, said the agreement was necessary due to the successful strategy of attracting events to be held at the Convention Center.
Torrijos added that the agreement includes special rates for conference attendees with discounts of up to 20 percent, in addition regular travelers will also benefit from a greater choice and better prices due to the flights.
