Free Yoga Classes at Cliffdivers’ Plaza

Family Services (DIF) president Sylvia Treviño Felton, announced free yoga classes the first Monday of each month at the Glorieta Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada plazuela on Paseo Clausen beginning May 12 at 7pm.
The classes given by Yoga teachers Dayanna González, Claudia Galindo, Wendy Tostado and Michelle Aguilera will be accompanied by live music by Mazatlán musician Raúl Buelna.
González told reporters in 2013, 80 yoga aficionados took advantage of the free classes and she expects to double that number this year. (from Noroeste)

Food Fair to Pay Homage to Panamá Restaurant Group

The third edition of the Festival Como Local food fair will take place this Sunday, March 30, at the Glorieta Sánchez Taboada, also known as the Cliff Divers Square, beginning at 11am and ending at 8pm.
Fifteen local restaurants will take part selling their dishes at economic prices. Workshops, classes and family activities are also planned for the day.
At 2pm, the Festival will honour Grupo Panamá for its four decades in business in Mazatlán. Grupo Panamá owns and operates 41 pastry shops, nine Panamá restaurants, one Cayenna restaurant, two factories, an education center and events salon, employing approximately 2,000 people.
Fair organizers Enrique Peraza Chavarín and Munir Aún said they expect 5,000 people to attend the event. (from Noroeste)
