In addition to the Carl’s Juniors hamburger chain restaurant recently opened
in the Gran Plaza shopping Mall, three more restaurants will be opened in
Mazatlán this year.
At a private meeting with Mazatlán Mayor Carlos Felton, the group of businessmen behind the investments said it will invest 65 million pesos in the venture, generating 150 direct jobs and 50 indirect.
The restaurants will be located at the corner of Av. Rafael Buelna and La Marina, on Ejército Mexicano in front of the IMSS hospital and on Av. Camarón Sábalo in the Golden Zone.
Director of Operations of Carl’s Junior indicated the first to open will be the restaurant presently under construction on La Marina. It is expected to be ready for business the second week in May. \
