When newspapers on Saturday published an article showing snow along the Mazatlán-Durango autopista, Mazatlecans took to their cars to drive up to see snow with their own eyes.
Snow had fallen on the highway at the towns of Coscomate, El Salto and Las Adjuntas. At kilometer 109 dozens of cars were parked beside the road as families walked through the snow, threw snowballs and made snowmen. The 5°C temperature was no deterrent to Sinaloans enjoying their first experience of snow. (from Noroeste)
