“Desayuno de los Pollos”, is the 19th annual breakfast charity hosted by the Medina family. The ticket price of $150 includes breakfast, raffles and a shopping opportunity of special handcrafts. All proceeds go towards purchasing chickens and distributing them on Christmas Eve “among the most vulnerable in our society” says Isabel Hudgins Osuna. You can purchase your tickets at the door of API (where the cruise ships dock on Emilio Barrgán Avenue). Make this Christmas Eve especially rewarding for those less fortunate, by giving $150 pesos to this wonderful breakfast event. In 2010, volunteers distributed 2000 dinners and 1000 basic food kits to 23 poor Colonias.
