The monthly temperatures shown below are averages.
Although temperatures in Mazatlan stay relatively consistent throughout the year, there are certain months during which life in Mazatlan is much more enjoyable than others. For many people, the best months to visit The Pearl of The Pacific are between November and May. During this time the average temperatures hover in the low to mid 80’s and rain will rarely ever disrupt an enjoyable day outdoors. Many people travel to Mazatlan from the U.S. and Canada during these months to escape the cold weather they have to face at home making November - May the high season for tourism throughout Mexico!
The rainy season usually begins in late June and continues through to September and sometimes even later. During these summer months the mornings are normally hot and sunny and the clouds begin to form around noon. Thunder, lightning and rain normally arrive in the evenings and during the nights. The tropical storms are truly thrilling and show to be seen. The vegetation surrounding Mazatlan turns a beautiful shade of deep green and the trees and flowers are in bloom everywhere.
