With the participation of 14 stands, Mazatlán’s annual Fish Fair opens on
April 1 and runs through until April 5. Located across from the aquarium in a
large parking lot, it is open from 10am to 6pn daily.
As well as offering diverse fish dishes, there is a play area for children, live banda music, cooking classes and handicrafts.
Chefs Gilberto del Toro, Julia Portugal, Angelina Escutia and Marino Maganda will be on hand to cook up local specialities.
At the announcement of the fair on Tuesday, head of Mazatlán´s family services Sylvia Treviño Felton said they expect to surpass the 4,500 people who attended the popular event last year.
