Over 1,000 Gotcha competitors from around Mexico are gathering in Mazatlán
this weekend for games organized by Militaría under the banner “Rescate del
Infierno” (rescue from fire).
At a press conference, organizers said they expect to exceed last year’s competition entitled “Stone Island: El desembarco” in terms of participants and missions.
Approximately 1,000 competitors and companions and two Robinson R44 helicopters are programmed to take part in “Rescate del Infierno” where two rival teams will battle each other in complicated missions. Once an hour each team will be given a mission they must complete within a time limit to earn points.
The encounter is programed for March 14 and 15 at the Campo MasterGotcha located beside the motocross track in the Zona Dorada.
