The return of cruise ships to Mazatlán this season will not only benefit tour agents, but has also reactivated reservations in the port’s trailer parks said Sergio Ponzo Gama, president of the local trailer park owners association.
From January to date, reservations have increased 80 percent over last year, he said. Most of the reservations are from Canadians, only about 20 percent are from Americans. He added that national tourists too are beginning to travel in RVs compared to previous years.
