Street Closures for Independence Day

The official celebration of México’s independence is begins with the traditional El Grito de Dolores on September 15, next Monday, and continuing through Tuesday.
Aaron Aguilar Iniguez, the Commander of Mazatlán’s Municipal Police, said that in anticipation of the upcoming celebration in the early morning hours of this coming Monday General Ángel Flores will be closed to traffic between 5 de Mayo and Benito Juárez. It will reopen on the morning of the 16th.
In addition to the closure of General Ángel Flores, beginning at 3:00 pm on Monday Benito Juárez will be closed between Mariano Escobedo to Jose Maria Cañizález, 21 de Marzo will be closed from Benito Juárez to 5 de Mayo, and Guillermo Nelson will be closed between 21 de Marzo and Jose Maria Cañizález.
