With the participation of over 300 competitors from 11 Mexican States, the USA, Cuba and Costa Rica, the 15th Annual Bicycle Competition began yesterday in Mazatlán and will end June 8.
The competition involving nine different categories takes place over six different stages in the municipalities of El Rosario, Concordia and Escuinapa, as well as a route to El Recodo. The circuit ends on the Mazatlán Malecón on the final day of the competition.
Media reported today that American Guy East of the True V cycle team won the first heat yesterday in the Elite category. He will lead off the second stage of the circuit taking place in El Rosario today.
