From January 1 through May 12 this year, approximately 5,000 million pesos have been invested in Mazatlán, a record for the municipality said the Director of Economic Development Hilda Inukai Sashida.
Saying the numbers are extraordinary and much higher than at any other time, she suggested the record investment was a result of the opening of the Mazatlán-Durango highway and pointed out the investments have stimulated a record of 3,025 new jobs, putting the city at the top of employment rates for the State.
