Both Production and Exports of Cars Rose in April

The Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA) reported that during the month of April vehicle production in México rose 3.9 percent to 248,031 vehicles.
During the same period the export by México of vehicles grew by 9 percent. A spokesperson for the AMIA said the growth in exports was attributable to increase in demand, primarily from the United States, which is the primary destination of its exported vehicles.
