As the 2014 Motorcycle Week in Mazatlán came to an end yesterday, the State government office reported the event added 340,000,000 pesos to the city’s economy.
The State office also reported 37,000 tourists arrived to attend the event, putting hotel room occupation rates at 95 percent, similar to rates enjoyed by hotels during Semana Santa.
According to the report, 20,000 motorcyclists participated in the motorcycle parade along the Malecón held on Saturday, double the number of last year.
