The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) said the unemployment rate in February 2014 stood at 4.65 percent, down from the 4.85 recorded in February of last year.
The INEGI said the underemployment rate remained at 8.2 percent, unchanged from February of 2013.
According to the INEGI in February 2014, 58.19 percent of the population 14 years and over were economically active. This figure was lower than that the 58.74 percent recorded during the same month last year.
