La Cruz, Elota: Businessmen and authorities from the Chinese province of Jilin arrived in Elota on an exploration visit to cattle and agricultural industries in the area to investigate the possibly of investment in products such as grains and cereals, particularly wheat and diverse vegetables prominent in Chinese cooking.
Of interest as well to the visiting Chinese delegation, said local Deputy Geovani Escobar Manjarrez, were opportunities in reproduction and fattening of beef, the fishing industry and the mining industry.
This was the first visit by the Chinese to explore the possibility of business relations and later Elota farmers and ranchers will plan a reciprocal visit to China or the same Jilin delegation will return for a second time. (from Noroeste)
