Our research shows that Mazatlan has several advantages over other potential Mexico Retirement locations that are further South. After several visits to different areas in Mexico and talking with many retirees who live here, we came to the conclusion that Mazatlan enjoys near perfect weather with milder temperatures and lower humidity that cities to the South.
Mazatlan has one foot in the tropics and the other in the dryer desert climate to the north, it is located just a few miles South of the Tropic of Cancer and is the same latitude as Hawaii.
