The general co-ordinator of strategic projects for Sinaloa, Francisco
Labastida Gómez de la Torre, announced yesterday the first ship
bringing gas ducts will arrive in Sinaloa on October 9 to begin the
initial phase of a pipe line connecting Toplobampo to El Encino,
Chihuahua, expected to be finished in July, 2015.
The project, a partnership of the Federal electricity commission and
the bid-winning Transcanada Company, will employ 2,500 workers when work
begins.
