The 2013 Buen Fin national discount shopping days, based on the successful American “Black Friday” program, will take place November 15-18 and is expected to exceed last year´s sales by 10 to 20 percent, said local commerce representatives at a press conference yesterday.
The commercial associations estimate that during the discount shopping weekend last year consumers in Mazatlán spent 2,950,000 pesos, taking advantage of the sales to stock up on Christmas gifts.
On a national level, over 335,000 stores are expected to participate in the Buen Fin program.
