Canaco Expo Opens Today

The annual Cámara Nacional de Comericio expo opens today in the empty lot beside Sam´s Club with over 150 displays by south Sinaloa businesses from Cosalá, Escuinapa, Concordia, El Rosario and Mazatlán. The expo, open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, runs from today through November 30.
A new attraction this year will be boxing and lucha libre matches along with the traditional theater, concerts and rides.
Organizers are expecting 100,000 people to visit the expo this year.

Expo Canaco Opens Today

The 28th annual Expo Canaco opens today in the lot beside Sam’s Club with the presence of visiting officials and businessmen from States forming the Economic Corridor of the North including Durango, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Chihuhua, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and Sinaloa.

Access to the expo grounds will be through the purchase of bracelets at a cost of 50 pesos (does not include the price of rides) or 30 pesos general admission.

The traditional fair offers 108 stands, dancing horses, car pavilions, food stands, rides and this year, the Baile del Año (Dance of the Year) featuring performances by José Ángel Ledezma “El Coyote” and Chuy Lizárraga.
