A program of cut-offs and active pursuit of delinquent accounts in Mazatlán
has produced fruit, said Rafael López Tover, superintendant of the Commission
Federal de Electricidad.
While 102 million pesos were in arrears by electricity users in the municipality at the beginning of 2014, that amount dropped to 74 million pesos in January, 2015.
The Commission hopes that this year that amount will be reduced by a further 30 million pesos.
