The 10th annual gathering of 4X4 enthusiasts for the Ruta
Patasalada is expected to draw over 100 cars and participants from northwestern
Mexico.
New competitions this year will be the “ugliest” 4X4 and the best equipped. The main over terrain route will take place on March 14 from La Noria to El Recodo, a 74 kilometer run. Heavily equipped cars will be offered an optional route to test their metal.
The cost to enter is 200 pesos for driver and one passenger. Entrance to the staging area on Ave. Sábalo Cerritos between the Mayan Palace and Quintas del Mar hotels is free.
