Speaking to media at the opening of the Muestra Gastronómica in the Plazuela
Machado yesterday, Mayor Carlos Felton announced that hotelier Ernesto Coppel
Kelly will soon open an “alto nivel” (high level) restaurant in the
Plazuela.
The hotelier has rented the upstairs of the Portales de Canobbio, a former family residence which has been vacant, for the restaurant.
According to the Mayor, the restaurant will offer international cuisine and 600 different wines and is expected to be ready for Semana Santa.
