So what exactly does Mexico export?

Mexico has grown to become a global manufacturing powerhouse and one of the world’s major exporters: the value of this country’s exports was US $380.1 billion last year, up from $349 billion the year before.
From vegetables ($5.4 billion) to electronic equipment ($77 billion), and from telephones ($10.1 billion) to petroleum products ($45.9 billion), the list of exported goods is long and diverse.
How long and how diverse?
The graphic gives an idea of the extent and diversity of the list, but a visit to the website it comes from will give the reader an interesting and interactive guide to Mexico’s exports, and those of other countries, thanks to Harvard University.
It also provides the dollar value of each, the most recent data being 2012.
Called The Atlas of Economic Complexity, the tool is not just about exports, but imports as well. If you want to know the value of trade in automotive products, electric motors or even frozen fruits and nuts, the answers are all there.
