Sinaloa Creates 12,000 Jobs in September

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the state of Sinaloa created 12,065 new jobs in the formal sector during the month of September. This was the best of any month so far this year.
Total new formal sector jobs for the month of September were 25,113 the highest for September in the last ten years. Total formal sector jobs for the state reached 449,030 according to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the largest number of employees in the formal sector, since the IMSS first started keeping records.
During the month of September the state of Sinaloa ranked number five in the country on newly created jobs, behind only the States of Guanajuato, México, Baja California, and the Federal District, respectively.
