First Hotel for Playa Espíritu to Open in December

Escuinapa: With an investment of 213 million pesos, the first hotel of the Centro Integralmente Planeado (CIP) Playa Espíritu mega tourist resort in Escuinapa will be open for business in December this year, said Sinaloa Fonatur delegate Jesús Bazúa Hernández.
The project will provide more than 100 direct jobs during construction, he added.
The delegate told media the hotel will consist of 53 rooms to be built on 5,000 square meters and will provide employment for 100 to 200 local workers once it is completed.
Road access to the resort is being assessed by the Secretary of Communications and Transport with the view to building a 20 kilometer highway to connect with existing roads.
As well, the delegate said, they will work on a study to assess whether it is feasible to upgrade and expand the Teacapán airport for tourists to the resort arriving by air.
The delegate did not give a date for the commencement of construction of the hotel. (from Noroeste)
