Sinaloa Secretary of Tourism (Sectur), Francisco Córdova Celaya, announced yesterday that there are six hotel projects in various stages of development in Mazatlán. Two have already begun construction, two more will begin in May and two are awaiting right of passage permits from the railway company.
Of the two already in progress, one is located beside the El Cid hotel and the other on Av. Del Mar. Two others will be built in the Marina area and the final two in Cerritos, together providing an additional 1,500 rooms for visitors said the Secretary.
