As expected the wind is calm this morning, and for the rest of the week it's going to be especially nice in Maz. That being said nice doesn't come close to describing la vista (the view) today.....let's try stunning, and even that may not be good enough!
The clear ski is a triple shade of blues. Power blue coming off the top of the lighthouse and downtown. A middle shade radiating outward from there, then a third very bright blue above that (which you'll only see in the right corner of the linked picture below).
However our ongoing Beauty Contest has to go to the ocean. The sea is also calm, and where sand turns to water the color is a gorgeous shade of emerald green. Where waves would normally break it's a deep shade of royal blue, and the ocean glistens all the way to the horizon.
Add in the amphibious vehicle entering the water for a trip to Deer Island, with it's golden crescent beach, and forget a thousand words....this image is worth a million!
