Murry Page has written an invaluable booklet entitled “Planning For the
Inevitable” and has donated this to Hospice Mazatlán IAP. This is a resource
that those who live in Mazatlán or those considering relocating here should have
on hand.
The book covers issue like:
? Organizing information for needs of the survivors.
? The concept of residency and how it may affect your current will.
? Who is your next-of-kin? (the concept is surprisingly not the same as USA)
? Living will
? Importance of registering with the consular office.
It also has practical appendixes that will help organize one’s wishes.
This booklet is now available at the Mazatlán Reading Library in Centro and will be available for purchase at the next meeting of Friends of Mexico to be held on March 11th at La Palapa del Mar, next to Casa Country, starting at 8:30 am.
The cost is $150 pesos for each booklet.
