Culiacán: A group of 45 experts of the Procuraduría General de Justicia recently completed a course on the Analysis and Processing of a Crime Scene given by personnel of the United States Department of Justice.

American Consul in Hermosillo, Jhon S. Tavener, explained the course was designed to teach the best standard practices in international forensic procedures. The American government, he said, will continue to assist in a bi-national course on the development of police professionalism.

The course was given in anticipation of the new open trial laws set to become law in Mexico in 2016.
