Supermarkets Reduce Prices Following Hurricane Manuel

Jorge Alán Urbina Robles, delegate of the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (Profeco) in Sinaloa, announced that beginning yesterday and until October 23rd eight supermarkets and mercados will reduce prices of basic food items to assist families who were victims of Hurricane Manuel and to reactive at the local economy.

The basic foods included in a price reduction for the next 13 days include eggs, beans, canned tuna, sugar, canned sardines, salad tomatoes, white onions, carrots and white potatoes.
