Port Director of Mazatlan to Stop by Laredo for Tour, Discuss Future

Laredo, TX.- Earlier Monday, the City of Laredo officials welcomed Jorge Ivan Cárdenas Castillo, General Director of the Port of Mazatlán, México and Mauricio Ortiz-Medina, Commercial Area Manager for the Port of Mazatlán, México to City Hall.

Castillo was in Laredo to visit with City leaders, including City Manager Carlos Villarreal, Assistant City Manager Jesus Olivares and Bridge Director Mario Maldonado to discuss future opportunities of shipping products from his port through the Port of Laredo.

Additionally, he met with U.S. and Mexican Customs officials, as well as took a tour of the international bridges. He is looking forward to welcoming City of Laredo officials to the Port of Mazatlán to begin moving forward with a mutually beneficial partnership for both ports.
