With the inauguration date of the Mazatlán-Durango Highway set for October 18th,
the director general of Durango’s secretary of communications and
transport announced yesterday the toll road will cost drivers 2 pesos 20
centavos per kilometer, or approximately 400 pesos.
Enrique León de la Barra Montelongo went on to advise damage to the superhighway caused by recent rains will be completed by Saturday, and bathrooms and stores at the Coscomate toll booth are almost finished.

$400 pesos, too much ! Is the old free road still open ?
