Coinciding with the Major League Baseball Playoffs, when demand for avocados usually increases, Avocados from Mexico has launched its first nationwide marketing campaign in the United States: "Avocado All-Stars".
The campaign aims to persuade consumers to add some "green" to their sandwiches on game days, whether in the shape of guacamole or other nutritious dishes containing avocado, as an alternative to mayonnaise.
"Avocados All-Stars" has another program at the retail level.
"This promotion is part of a larger campaign aimed at differentiating and distinguishing Mexican avocados from those produced in other countries, which includes processed products containing avocado," clarified the statement.
"As the only source of avocados available all year round, Mexican avocados are never off-season, offering freshness and a delicious flavour at any time," he added.
For the future, Avocados from Mexico is planning a series of promotional activities, such as store campaigns during Christmas and a full program to go with the American football season.
