Mazatlán-Durango Highway to be Inaugurated October 17th

The Sinaloa delegate of the Secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT), Héctor García Fox, told media yesterday the company working on the final leg of the Mazatlán-Durango highway in Sinaloa will finish the project in time to inaugurate the route on October 17^th.

He was asked by reporters if he was aware of information published by a local daily publication stating a delegation from the Durango SCT confirmed, in a bulletin, that the inauguration was postponed to February, 2014.

He answered he was unaware of the information and they are working to meet the October 17^th deadline, with 97% of the final leg complete. If there was a change, he pointed out, he would have been notified.
