Tito Rodriguez Loreto Corrales, Director of Public Works, said that the
torrential rainfall experience by Mazatlán because of hurricane Manuel damaged
almost every street, avenue, and boulevard in the city.
The Director estimated that repairs would exceed 4.5 million pesos.
Although the infrastructure is damaged throughout the city, Loreto Corrales said priority would be given to the main arteries, in order to return driving conditions to normalcy as soon as possible.
He did not give an estimate as to when the street repairs would be completed, saying only that when the work is finished, Mazatlán’s roads would be in good condition.
