Mayor Promises Aqueduct Before Leaving Office
The construction the Miravalles aqueduct designed to conduct water from the Picachos Dam to Mazatlán for the next 50 years will begin before his term ends at the end of this year, promised Mayor Alejandro Higuera.
Once the construction has been put out for bids, it will take a year and a half to complete and cost 490 million pesos, funded in part by the Federal government, the State government and the construction company.
The call for bids is expected to be published next week, said the Mayor, and construction will begin before he leaves office.
